Our Story

Music Connection was conceived in 1992 by Marty McCrae, a radio broadcaster and club disc jockey. After thirteen years in broadcasting and a variety of club gigs, Marty was approached to provide music entertainment for a wedding reception. This party led to many others and Music Connection was born.

Since that time, Music Connection has grown into a full-service entertainment source. In 1996 we moved to a new store location, 1414 West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa. And over time, Music Connection has grown to meet the needs of its varied clientele. We now employ five professionally trained, experience-proven DJs, who have been loyal to Music Connection's commitment of quality music entertainment. Our Quad-Cities DJ's know that the key to excellence in mobile entertainment is to utilize high-quality, reliable, light-weight equipment that is easily set-up and torn-down. After all, no one wants to spend two hours breaking down equipment after a six hour party!

The new millenium brought additional expansion to Music Connection by 1100 square feet, allowing us to display even more DJ and Lighting supplies.
